Who We Are

We are a multi-generational farming family who have practiced many different forms of cultivating, nurturing, and harvesting. We are using our best efforts to carry on our families legacy of self-sufficiency and the farming way of life.

The food we grow, animals we raise, and products that ultimately end up on your family's dinner table depend on the health and vitality of the soil we raise them on. It is our responsibility to be mindful of what goes into our livestock and the condition of the soil we grow our plants in.

Mission: We believe there is an art and elegance in growing healthy, beautiful, and delicious food.

Goal: To share our passion and belief in sustainable practices with our community.

Approach: Implementing regenerative techniques that benefit both the land and its yield.

Our Sustainable Practices

You've heard people say "you are what you eat." That's a nice thought but it's not quite true is it? We are what the plants and animals eat. Meaning a plant is only as healthy as the soil it grew in.

Cows grazing in pasture

Rotational Grazing

Allows parts of pasture to rest to avoid over grazing, provides even manure distribution across pasture for fertilization, less weed pressure due to even grazing, all of which yields healthier soil and ultimately healthier grass for livestock.

Gardening tools and plants

No-Till Gardening

Causes little to no soil disturbance, keeps moisture and carbon trapped in the soil, keeps soil bacteria alive and thriving for healthier and more nutritional dense produce, saves water, and helps reduce soil erosion.

Fresh microgreens

Compost Usage

Use of compost and seasoned manure to stimulate soil microorganisms and improves structure of the soil and avoid synthetic fertilizers that increase soil toxicity and that cause water pollution.

Fresh farm eggs

Organic Practices

Observing organic practices such as avoiding chemical pesticides, insecticides, and herbicides. Pasture Raising has been shown to increase the nutritional density of the meat and eggs of herds and flocks.

Our Story

A journey of tradition, family, and sustainable farming

Our story may not entirely be unique, but it is a personal one. More than likely it is one that you and your family may relate. As far back as memory serves, we know our family has been cultivating land, growing and harvesting fruits and vegetables, and raising livestock to feed the entire family.

Farming, self-sufficiency, and family oriented traditions are engrained in our being. For us, and maybe even for you, it is self-evident that being close with the land and taking care of each other brings a family together.

Now, it's our turn. We are the keepers of the knowledge and tradition. It is our responsibility and duty to share what we have learned. We aspire to accomplish this while restoring and renewing the health and vitality of the world where we work.
